Product Specifications

Brass-Toned Brush Head: A ribbed metal edge set in a moulded housing. It grips hair that has worked its way down into the pile and drags it back out, rather than skimming the surface.

35cm Working Width: Wide enough to clear a driver’s mat in a few passes instead of a few dozen.

Overall Size: 35 × 36 cm, weighing 65 g.

Manual Tool: No motor, no battery, no cord and nothing to charge. It works the moment you pick it up.

Reusable: Peel the hair off, rinse the head, use it again. There are no sticky sheets to replace.

Surfaces: Car mats, footwells, boot liners and seats, plus rugs, carpet, sofas, pet beds, cat trees and stair carpet. It can also be used gently on the pet itself.

Not For Delicate Fabrics: Keep it off wool, loose knits, yarn and silk. On anything you are unsure about, test a hidden corner first.

It pulls out what the vacuum misses

I ran the vacuum over the boot liner twice first, then this. It still came up with a thick rope of hair. That was the moment it sold itself.

The car mats were the worst

Two dogs in the back every weekend. The driver’s mat had gone grey and I assumed it was just worn. It was not — it was fur, and it came out.

No refills is the whole point

I was buying sticky rollers every month and throwing the sheets away. This one just gets wiped off and put back in the drawer.

    Fast on a big rug

The head is wide enough that a whole living room rug does not take all afternoon. A few long pulls in one direction and the pile lifts.

    Careful on knits

It grips hard, which is the point, but I would not put it near a wool throw. On normal carpet and car mats it is exactly right.

    Lives in the door pocket

It weighs nothing, so it stays in the car rather than in a cupboard. Two minutes at the petrol station and the footwell looks new again.

WHERE PET HAIR ACTUALLY ENDS UP

Hair does not sit on top of carpet, it works its way down and wraps around the fibres. That is why suction passes straight over it and why the same patches look grey no matter how often you clean.

    THE DRIVER’S MAT

Trodden in until it is part of the weave.

    THE BOOT LINER

Where the dog rides every single weekend.

    THE SOFA ARM

The one spot they always jump to.

    THE STAIR CARPET

    Vacuumed weekly. Still grey.

NOT BECAUSE YOU DON’T CLEAN —
    BECAUSE SUCTION CANNOT GRIP HAIR.

    HAIR THE VACUUM LEAVES

One pull. The fur comes with it.

The ribbed brass edge catches hair below the surface and rolls it into a rope you can lift off in one piece. Car mats, stair carpet, the sofa arm — the places a vacuum has already been and left grey.

Why a Vacuum Never Quite Gets the Hair

Compared against a sticky lint roller and a household vacuum on the same pet-hair covered carpet and car mats. Results vary with pile type and how deep the hair has worked in.

      Frequently Asked Questions

      contact_support

Will it damage my carpet or upholstery?

On ordinary carpet, car mats, woven upholstery and pet beds, no — it is designed to grip hair rather than fibres.

It is firm though, and the maker is clear about the limits: keep it away from wool, loose knits, yarn and silk. On anything delicate or expensive, run it over a hidden corner first and see how the fabric reacts.

      contact_support

Do I have to buy refills?

No. There is nothing to replace — no sticky sheets, no cartridges, no filters. Peel the collected hair off the head, wipe or rinse it, and it is ready again.

That is the main reason people switch from lint rollers, which need a new pack every few weeks.

      contact_support

Can I use it on the pet itself?

Yes, gently. Use light strokes in the direction the coat lies and stop if your pet objects. It is built for carpet, so the pressure that suits a car mat is far too much for an animal.

For a nervous pet or a very short coat, a proper grooming brush is still the better tool.

      contact_support

      How do I clean it?

The hair gathers along the head in a rope — pull it off with your fingers and bin it. If it has picked up dust as well, rinse the head under the tap and let it dry before putting it away.

      contact_support

Is this better than a vacuum?

It is a different job. Suction pulls loose debris out of the pile, but hair twists around the fibres and grips, so the nozzle passes over it. This drags that hair back out mechanically.

Most people end up using both — this first to lift the hair, then the vacuum for the dust underneath.

      contact_support

What happens if there is a problem with my order?

Contact our support team with your order details and a description of the issue. We will help resolve damaged, defective or incorrect items, and arrange a replacement or refund where it applies. Our 30-day money-back guarantee covers you either way.
